Monolithic Refractories

SLC Series

SILCA (SLC) is a high-strength, high-density castable. By adjusting the particle size distribution of the fine particles to below a few microns and adding a dispersant and a workability improver, a high-density filler can be obtained with very small amounts of additives. This new type of product also has the following characteristics: it minimizes the use of alumina cement, thereby improving the high-temperature properties.
